What a gem. We had an amazing dinner. The cocktails were lovely. Calamari was perfectly seasoned and fried. My spaghetti and meatballs were flavorful with just the right amount of kick. We finished the meal with the apple fritter bread pudding and it was delicious. The server was outstanding. We will definitely be back!

Not going to lie, we were pleasantly surprised. This was our first time visiting West 122, we were celebrating our anniversary and looked like a cute place. We were a bit concerned when we first arrived as it was essentially at full capacity and there was only 1 waiter and a gentleman behind the bar. I figured service would be slow or just downright not good. That couldn't have been further from the truth, the waiter was attentive, food came out quickly, he checked in with us frequently. There was ONE time I was trying to get his attention and he didn't hear me but it wasn't long after that he came by our table anyway, so it was no big deal. The appetizers were out of this world amazing. We also got the steak which was cooked perfectly and was SO delicious. The only thing we could complain about was the mushroom risotto, it needed more salt and had a bit too many extra large mushrooms for our personal liking. When it came time for dessert we got the apple fritter bread pudding and that was insanely tasty too. Overall we would LOVE to come back here for many more dates. So glad we took a chance and tried it!

The octopus was the best I have ever had. It was cooked and seasoned perfectly. I already want to go back for more. Everything was delicious. Our waiter Evan was amazing! We will try to be seated with him again next time.
